Corsift Voice · GP practices

The 8am rush, answered — without a queue.

Every GP practice knows the 8am wall of engaged tones. Corsift Voice answers every concurrent call: appointment requests captured properly, routine questions answered from approved answers, and anything clinical flagged urgent for your care navigators.

What it handles on a GP practice's line

Reception is where it starts — the agent speaks to patients and connects to your systems to get things done.

The 8am rush

Concurrent calls answered in parallel, so patients stop redialling and your reception team stops apologising.

Appointments

Bookings, cancellations, and reschedules captured as confirmed requests in one queue, so your team enters them once and nothing is lost between calls.

Routine questions

Opening hours, clinics, registration, test-result process, and travel guidance — answered from knowledge your practice manager approved.

Prescription queries

Repeat-prescription process questions handled and requests captured for your dispensary workflow.

Clinical calls flagged, instantly

Symptoms, urgency, and distress hit your handoff rules: the agent stops, takes the details, and flags the call urgent for a human — it never plays doctor.

Out-of-hours signposting

Evenings and weekends answered with your approved out-of-hours guidance, including 111 signposting.

A posture the practice can defend

Patient phone lines are sensitive by default. Corsift Voice is built so the practice can prove its handling, not just assert it.

  • Approved answers only. Every answer on the line was signed off by your practice. No knowledge match means the agent says so and offers a person.
  • No transcript stored. Calls are described by their mechanics — timings, knowledge hits, handoffs — not their words. Patient confidentiality as a storage posture.
  • Declared deployment boundaries. The processing region, subprocessors, transcript policy, redaction scope and evidence available are documented during onboarding.

Common questions

Does it do clinical triage?

No. Anything clinical — symptoms, urgency, distress — makes the agent stop, take the patient's details, and flag the call urgent for your team under handoff rules you define. The agent handles the routine load so your care navigators handle care.

Can it work with our appointment system?

Not directly yet. Appointment requests, cancellations, and reschedules land as a clean, confirmed queue in your console for your team to enter. Direct appointment-system connections are being added and are confirmed during onboarding before any use.

How is patient data handled?

The deployment region, subprocessors, transcript policy, redaction scope and known product boundaries are documented during onboarding and in the applicable service schedule.
